You remove two cards from your wallet, pocket, or card case with one red and one blue. Folded in half, the two cards are placed directly into your spectator’s hand, and they’re asked to hold onto them tightly.

You take one of the cards back, the blue card for example, and simply pass it underneath their hand.

In an instant, the impossible happens.

The card in your hand is now red.

Your spectator opens their hand and discovers that they are still holding the blue card.

The two cards have somehow switched colors.
